Rypeater is a watchOS-only Apple Watch app inspired by mechanical minute repeater watches.
Open the app on Apple Watch and turn the Digital Crown clockwise. When the winding ring completes one full rotation, the app chimes the current time.
The chime sequence is:
You can add the Rypeater complication to a compatible Apple Watch face. Tapping the complication opens the app in winding mode.
Inside the app, tap the gear button to adjust:
If the app does not respond to the Digital Crown, close and reopen the app, then turn the crown clockwise again.
If you do not hear sound, check the Apple Watch volume and silent mode settings.
If the complication does not appear, make sure Rypeater is installed on Apple Watch, then edit a compatible watch face and choose the Rypeater complication.
